Now in its second year, this event is being held as part of “FISE,” the world’s premier international urban sports festival held in various locations around the globe. The event will feature the “UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup Park Event”—a qualifying competition for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games—as well as “Rollerblading (Freestyle)” and other disciplines. The world’s top athletes will once again gather in Sakai Town.​

Following stops in Montpellier, France; Birmingham, Alabama, USA; and Shanghai, China, Sakai Town in Ibaraki Prefecture will host the final round of the 2026 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup Park Series. As the event that determines the annual series champion, intense competition among the world’s top athletes is expected.
